Default The New Guy

Hello everybody, I'm James and I'm from the Chicago-land area. I'm currently serving in the Army and stationed in upstate New York. I'm a proud owner of a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo SS that I lucked up and found online. I will have pictures of it soon. I hope to fit in and have fun.

Welcome to the forum James. The 2006 Monte Carlo SS is a somewhat rare car, only so many of them girls made. Whats your MOS?

Really, I didn't know the 2006 Monte Carlo was somewhat rare. My MOS is 36B or financial management technician.

Thanks for the welcome. The last one I seen that was a seventh generation was sitting in a car lot waiting to be sold. It had 106,000 miles on it and I was looking at buying it. I'm glad I waited, I found a better one with way less miles on it back in Illinois. Yep, I'm currently stationed in Fort Drum.

Heeey there she is, thanks monte carlo 3831. When I bought it it had 68,889 miles on it. A road trip from Illinois back to Fort Drum, NY later got it to 71,061 miles. Did you go to the Syracuse nationals on the weekend, mntecrloSS47?

Thanks man. I was there from 12:30 to 4:00 P.M. The rain really came down. I got to get under a tent that housed a nice Charger though.
