New guy
Hi all. Just traded my 1987 honda magna for a 1979 chevy monte and I couldn't be any happier. My bike had been an unhealthy two year love affair and it was time to say good bye. I admit I fell in love the 3rd gen monte after seeing training day and I plan on giving my monte similar touches (minus hydraulics). Currently she is a faded dark cherry and i'm in the middle of extensive body work. I have frame rails from http://www3.sympatico.ca/conradlozier/ on the way. After that I'm targeting suspension, then steering, then a 350, then interior, and finally i'll top it off with a home made gloss black paint job. I'm currently a sophomore at purdue university in materials science engineering and this is my first project car. Thanks for havin me.
