Sounds like a great car! I myself had an 03 LS, and prefer that style front end over mycurrent monte's, but, no other year came with the 3.9 so yeah, hp wins
I hope it grows on you more! Good room in the back for friends/family, nice big trunk (for whatever), and I'm sure that 3.8 won't disappoint you with it's power, even if it's not a supercharged one!
