Default New to Forum

Hey everyone, I just signed up to this forum. It was hard to find a decent one that people write on daily. Anywho, I'm from New York and I own a 96 LS. This is the first monte I own,but my dad has previously owned a 76 and an 86 and currently owns two 95 z34's. I'm loving my baby haha. I haven't done much to it though, just tints, new grill, and changed the radio. I was planning on getting a sub and amp and possibly lowering the car, and maybe change the air intake system. All in the future though (the life of a broke college chick). I do plan on getting the 2007 SS, that baby's got power. But until then, I've got my 96 . So yea, hello everyone!

Hey, I had one of them, same colour too. Nice car too, should have kept it, would have had a lot more money in my jeans if I had. Good luck, no such thing as a bad Monte, you'll enjoy it for sure. A nice new set of wheels would look good. I just happen to have a set ..........oh never mind don't want to talk about wheels..(See my post re: my 07 has arrived)

lol!! yah if you get chrome or any kind of aftermarket wheel you really need to keep them clean. best way is to get ceramic brakes and then you get no brake dust.
thats the worst thing to see though is someone who's got nice rims on their vehicle and never keeps em clean, like my uncles beamer with his 20's on it they're never clean. or my old truck i sold the guy has never cleaned them this year yet and i used to be out there cleaning them everyday

The previous owner of my car never kept them clean... I don't know if he ever cleaned them in the 6 months he owned the car. :P I need to find a wax or coating to apply to them once I get all the brake dust off sometime.

Anyhoo. Welcome to MCF!! I'm sure you'll like the activity on this board.
