Hello All,
Finally got my '84 SS back. Long story short, I bought it used back in '98 but had to sell it. It was almost like watching one of my kids go live somewhere else. New owner (Human member of the family) bought it with the promise that if HE had to sell it, then I'd first chance at buyback. He kept it for all these years (and turned down double what he paid me for it), added a few parts and pieces, and sold it back to me for the original selling price. Good trustworthy relatives are still around after all.
Paint has statrted to blister, but otherwise she still growls when I hit the go fast pedal. All in all a beautiful car overlooking the paint of course. A nice set of centerlines, new paint, and she'll be back to greatness. Hopefully it'll be a while before we get so broke that she has to leave us again.
Anyway, that's my story and I look forward to good advice from y'all on keeping her at her best.
Thanks for reading.
