Default New to the forum
I have my 98 monte carlo Z34 for about 6 years now... its a great ride, but my head gasket blew out. So I bought a new one to put in. Only thing is the shop i took my heads to tells me they're cracked and couldn't fix them. now what can i do?

Welcome to the site. I think if you have a cracked head you will have to replace it. I think it would be cheaper than having it repaired. I'm not positive but i'm sure someone else will know a little more.

new is better but i don't have that kind of money, so will remanufactured one work just as good?

I have 275 to spend, and the junkyards are here dont seem to have my 3.8 motor. Only thing is I need both heads replaced.
