Welcome to the forum Jason and SeaBee.

Jason, what plans do you have for the Monte. Besides the engine swap. Track car? Bad *** daily driver? What about paint?

@Taz, Yeah she's gonna be my bad *** daily for a while. I'm going for a dark purple on the paint and a slight cowl hood. I plan on lowering it at least 2in' all around and I'd like to put some Trans Am GTA wheels on it but black with a polished lip. I plan on getting it back on the road then pull my S10 in the garage for some major modding.

I was wondering if any of you guys have had experience in swapping a 350 in the 4th Gen Montes could use some insight and advice. I need to find the best headers, and I wanna try and put a shift kit in the tranny. Also would like to make her posi rear. I want her to be clean but still kinda sleeper looking. Since the motor displacement is now 357 I plan on having a bunch of Revolver themed stuff scatered about on it and maybe some Magnum emblems lol but not 100% on that yet. Any info you guys could share would be most appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to the site!

The car looks awesome!

I would definitely keep it looking just as it does now, then with that motor, excellent sleeper!

Keep us posted on what you do

So i started diving back into the monte last night. I got the intake on and set but i gotta change the washers I put under the bolts up, they're just a little to small. Hopefully tonight I'll start pulling the wiring harness out from under the hood and maybe start painting up underneath all of that. Im going to start painting the block soon too. Once the new year starts I'm gonna stock up on all my much needed parts and get this beast on the road ASAP!
