Hello all, I'm a new monte carlo owner. and I've been looking for a community like myself on giving me tips and tricks on maintaining my vehicle, being a 04' Monte Carlo SS Supercharge. I have never owned a Supercharge before and I want it to last as long as it can. so if anyone has tips they can tell me on better maintaining it, thanks very much.

Hi DevilsEve & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family.

How long have you had your Monte ? How many miles are on it now ? How many owner's ?
Explore the MCF and you will learn a lot about your Monte Carlo & what are member's are doing.

Wish you safe/fun/fast trouble`free miles.
(Curious) does your user name have a meaning ?

Good Luck in Life & with your Monte Carlo

Just recently got my monte, about a week ago, so on here for support and information. There's about 83k Miles on it, and 1 previous owner. and that's my plan, browse around here and see previous topics.

Greetings & Salutations!

If there are no service records a complete tune up (plugs/wires/pcv/air & fuel filters) might be a good idea along with changing the oil/filter and supercharger oil.

Was planning on going to a garage today for an oilchange, and from there see what else I would need. first time driving it I smelled oil so I had to figure out why it was doing that. First thought was it needed a oil change.

Welcome to the site. Changing the supercharger oil would be a good idea. Also at some point you may want to service the transmission and the cooling system.
