It is 100% original paint. I did just finish detailing the car when i took the picture, the car is dry though. But its just a camera on a phone(htc touch pro) I got it when it was 6 years old and have been clay baring and waxing it once a month in addition to a microfiber towl whenever it rains to dry it. Thanks for the comments , im actually considering swapping out the rims though... They look good but i dont think they really fit a monte carlo. To whoever commented on the pickup, its mine aswell. 1970 c10 350 with a turbo 400(shift kit, 3k stall converter). The 350 is bored 30 over with a 458 rough idle crane engergiser cam, flat top pistons and 76 cc heads(port and pollish)The motor produces 339 hp and 469 ft lbs. at 5500 rpm. Body work and paint is in store for the truck next. Guess i never posted much about myself, im 22, work in fast food, and have an addiction to speed. I built the truck myself from ground up(including engine)

I think the biggest problem with your rims is not only the style on the Monte, but the size of the tires. The low-profile doesn't look as good, these cars look great with a beefy rubber.
on an 18" you should be running 245/45/18 easily
