Hello everybody im a 21 year old college student from Chi-Town last month I bought my first car which is all black with beige interior 1998 Monte Carlo Z34 w/ 136,000 miles on it. WOW i know the miles are high but its the 3800 series engine so I am staying positive that it will last for a while. So far I have got the car a tune up, oil change, and detailed. Yesterday I got the sad news when my check engine light came on after some hard shifting that my torque control solenoid is stuck on. I know this is not something I can do and I am not looking forward to spending the money to get it fixed next week when i get paid. I have always loved MCs for as long as I can remember and like I said this is my first car and I want it to last for a while. Any comments, suggestions, and feedback would be greatly appreciated thank you.
