NEW 05 MONTE (From Canada)
Hey,For the past week Ive been on this site and Glab to own the 05 monte ive been looking at. Today I Picked it up. Silver 05 monte carlo ss. Car runs and drives really nice. way better then the alero i had. I have some pictures here But have to firgure out how to make them smaller.
Just a question Where is the button for Mirrior defrost?

Welcome to the site. I do not recall that the 00-05 Montes had heated side mirrors (if that is what you are talking about). There are vents on the dash aimed at your side windows to defrost them along with the windsheild but I know do not think that they had heated mirrors. I own an 06 Mini Cooper S and that came with heated mirrors.

if you have heated mirrors they will heat up the same time you run the rear window defroster. I am not sure how to know for sure if you have heated mirrors unless you have the window sticker or run the vin at a dealer.

I believe they turn on with your defroster. Whether or not your car is equipped with them is any ones' guess. To add, I am glab that you are glab you got a Monte.

silver ftw. i don't recall seeing a mirror defrost or noticed we have one, but check by the drivers side door where all the control buttons at. you can make the pic smaller just go to photobucket.com and there's you can shrink down the size. post some pic i want to see that silver bullet monte

Welcome to the forum!
As you figured out already, the side mirror defrost is turned on with the rear window defogger. I find that option very useful also. Mine takes only a couple minutes, and voila! Clean mirrors.
There's a few of us here from Canada. Wiz Kidd and I are in Ontario (I'm in Windsor). A number of members are from all over Canada. Where are you?
