Need Advice on 2002 MC 207,000 miles for 4,100$
PS
Please add to the maintenance list to Wash(hand wash is best-elbow grease) your car paint at least twice a year if not 4 times. After it dries(or the day after) and in the shade, WAX OR SEAL your paint.
So many don't do anything with their paint to protect it from the harsh pollution and sun.
It's so sad to see a car in great condition but the biggest part on the car, the paint, is crap.....
NONE of my friends EVER wax or seal their paint...... Seems hardly anyone does these days..
Of course it's a shame paint isn't made to last the life of the vehicle without waxing/sealng.
Take care

Posting this to join in on the MC price time capsule:
In 2024 my 05 LS was $2500 with about 170,000 miles on it. I took it to the shop and had the Fuel Sending Unit replaced and a transmission leak addressed, and it's ran great ever since. I just replaced the cabin air filter for the first time and am about to replace the engine air filter. After that I'm due to replace the tires, rotors, and brakes, and then after that I need to address a rear speaker issue that's existed since before I had the car. I've already made peace with the fact that I'll eventually have to replace the transmission.
My goal is to run this Monte to 300k miles at least!
