Welcome to the Monte circle...take care of it, they are generally pretty dependable. Just do your maintenance. have someone really go through it, make sure all the fluid levels are correct and the tranny fluid is not all burnt etc. Check your brake pads out just so you know where things are. Nice 1st car............ lucky dog!!
Thanks everyone! And so far, I love it. I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow for everyone to see.
I really want some new rims, but I don't have the money to spend on that right now.
Hopefully someday soon though.
Tinting the windows may be one of the first things I do.
Thinking about about either blacked out taillights or getting some LED taillights.
Also really wanna get some black headlight fixtures. :p Hate the chrome fixtures on my black car. Really makes it look inconsistent I think. I want everything to look really clean.

Congrats on the car!! I am 18 and I also have a 2002 Monte SS that is black!! She is also my first car. When I got her she had 87,000 miles. I just got her back from the paint shop last week. I put a ram air hood on her and a nascar style spoiler and had her totally repainted. I hopefully will get rims this summer. Congrats again on the car!
