When you remove the ones from your car, it will be a pain to put adhesive back on them and put them back on.

Buying new, they have the adhesive already there and it was just EASIER.

Unsure where to buy my guess a body shop supply shop, but here @ the dealership we have some 3M adhesive that you put the emblem on, take it back off and there is only adhesive on the emblem. Called Press-In-Place they are 2" x 12" strips. Part number on the package is 051135-08069. Those packages have 10 strips in them... unsure of cost. Hope it helps.

hope the image works, can't see it on work computer

The factory ones have the adhesive cut perfectly to the font. It's really nice

When I worked at a local body shop years ago, the guy that did the appraisals and estimates filled his extra time by re-taping badges and emblems. He would put strips of 3M tape to cover the tire back of the badge. Then he carefully trimmed the extra with a razor blade before putting it back on the car. Took a lot of patience, but a whole lot cheaper than buying a brand new badge just for the tape.
