Tell us a little more about yourself. Like where your from & what is your daily driver? I like the site name you have. But lets see you've been a mechanic for 14 yrs. I thinking your around say 34 ? And you still call your self a KId. Nothing like thinking positive

welcome to the forum...i was a mechanic for 20years...at various places....ase
cert. on all makes......cant work on them know more...too complicated like the world today too technical. i remember points and condensors....adjuting carbs.....and caps and rotors.....hei was new.....we got use to it...
fords have always sucked........fix or repair dailey/found on road dead.....
the mustangs are ok......and cobras...about it.......
no one can match the vettes and monte carlos /////and the good ole ss 454
cowl induction chevelles.....and judges/gto s/////of the 68-71 eras......
i worked for texaco in glenville ny....sunoco in ballston spa....mobil in saratoga....mot. wards auto/walmarts / sears/////
i am now a school custodian......but i miss it.......

My grandfather and dad both owned auto repairs, I always took vocational classes n high school.
I went to college and became an insurance agent as my father talkd me out of being one.
After three years I went in the Sec of state to re-new my license, I decided to take my State serts. I walked out certified in Front Suspesion and brakes.
I was a Mechanic not a technician.
I quit insurance wqent to work for Signature Toyota in Benton Harbor for 2 years, then to Haggin Wimberley Chevrolet for 3 yrs in Dowagiac, and ended up at Siemans in Bridgman for almost 12, they were a GM, Ford , Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler dealer.
I wsrecked a motorcycle badly in JUly of 2004, broke a leg, a hip and my jaw, 13 months on my back another yr learning to walk. Got a realtionship wiht Giod October 12th, 2006, I stopped two men from raping a girl, October 6th, 2 days later they found me an nearly beat me to death. Split my skull with a smack to my forehead with the claw end of a hammer, and two full bottle of beer over the back of my head.
Needless to say, woke up 3 days later, rage took over and then a lady told me about God.
I did a year at Teen Challenge International In Muskegon Michigan.
NOW, I am asst. Mgr at Performance Plus qwil lube, I work part time at Pennfield party store.I am dating a awesome women with morals and scruples, I am drug free and love life.
I wake every day and thank GOD for what he is doing in my life.
OK, IM 43, graduated with a 3.9 in high school, did a 2yr degree in 13 months, I have a a ssociates in Business Management.
But God gve me a GIFT, I love using my head, hands and mouth.
I dont preach or bible thump, I just know what has changed my life.

The only thing Ford can make are rear-ends. You always see people using that damn Ford 9" in their builds.

Damn Carl. Glad your Ok after all that you've been thru! Nice to hear your life is back on track. Nothing wrong in going with GOD ! I also grew up in Michigan. Hope to see or hear more from you on here. Again WELCOME........Rick
