my dad shot the paint, lexani eliete white base/clear in april of 09
i started the monstercarlo project in april 07

i traded my 87 mazda lowrider truck for the monte, other than the ss wheels, this is how she looked.............
she got the ss wheels as soon as she got home with me, and also has the SS nose conversion from another 84 there waiting............
heres the pics from april 2007



she also had doo doo brown interior with the 60/40 seat and colum shift, lol



im thinkin about trashing the graffics after the 4th of july, and getting back to the plain white look, with the addition of a red 1/2in stripe around the body line breaking off at the rear bumper

ive built a few cars over the years
73 nova hatch back, 327 th350, 3:42posi

77 impala 305ho, th350, 3:42lsd
81 cutty, 350 gold rocket, th350, original rear
but the monte has been the most fun project of all

Welcome to the forum. Nice work you did converting your ride into the SS look you wanted. Don't blame ya. Nothing wrong with an LS. But the 4th gen SS front clip just has a more badass look to it.

Part of the fun of owning a car is customizing it and building it up the way you want it.
