I have been a member here since 2011. I came to this forum looking for an answer to what I thought was a PCM issue that turned out to be a simple changing out of the MAF... Its been running Great Ever since.

The staff recently asked if I would join them as a Moderator on the forum. Which I graciously accepted. I am a retired Truck Driver(by trade)... But I did work for a few years before retiring permanently in 2004 after working as dealer at the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit Mi. (from 2000 to 2004)
My wife still works there as well for the last 13yrs. She is a slot floor person!

I look forward to serving the Members and Staff for many years to come.

Hey all, I'm a Mike as well, from Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. Found this forum while looking for some info for my '03. This is the only car, in my whole life that I ever got this attached too, more even than my play car, 1965 Impala SS!! I install carpet for a living, and love driving my Monte around, I hope to always have one, if not this one in particular, love it! Met a lot of really good folk here, and there's tons of info available, and advice, thanks to all!!

 

Hello my name is Amy and I've been a member since 2006. I think I'm one of the oldest members who posts on a regular basis (besides Space ;-) )

I live in Wauconda, IL. I have lived in the northwest burbs of Chicago my whole life (except for the 4 years I went away to college at Kansas).

I have owned my Monte since new - special ordered it and will keep it forever.

I am a production artist at a label company that specializes in RFID labels. We also have Snap-On as one of our largest clients and do custom wraps for their roll cabs.

 

I'm Justin I live in Eagan Minnesota, soon to be Minnesnowta, this isn't my first meeting I have been here since 09 was looking for help with my 85, now have a 84 and 01 pace car,

I am building maitinance at a veterinary supply company, run my own detailing business

 

Thanks Member's for your post & introductions. When I started this thread I was just hoping to get member's to post their first name & location into their MCF Profile, but I like the direction this thread is going...

I hope that more member's take the time to post & also fill in their profile(s) & become part of our Monte Carlo Family It's really not that difficult.

Thanks Member's for reading this thread & posting. Several member's have entered their first name & state into their Profiles, but the majority still have not complied.

I feel that `if a member's can't take the time to post their first name & state in their profile ?, then why should I or anyone take the time to help them or reply to their post ?

It's sad to me when a member just joins to take & gives nothing back . I just don't know, do you ?

It's just not the MCF, I see in it our World, there also seem to `be to many takers & not enough giver's. If everyone keeps taking , there's not going to `be anything left Maybe that's why our country is on the verge of bankruptcy

My name is Jason. I live in Mentor-on-the-Lake Ohio (about 20 miles east of Cleveland Ohio).
I work as a Windows Server administrator these days (been a computer tech since about 1997 and a computer enthusiast since about the day I was born.
I got into cars when I was 17 and got my drivers license. I became a 3rd gen ('82-'92 Camaro/Firebird enthusiast. I bought my '04 Monte in September of '08 (originally intended to be a daily driver) and I've been in love with it ever since.
I began looking for mods for my Monte and was frequenting multiple 3800 related forums. Chibi found me on one of those forums and suggested I hang out on MCF. I joined in 2010 and I've been on ever since.
