My 1990 Dodge Daytona at the All Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA this year. Underhood still needs detailed. This is pretty much just a show/cruise-in car. I drive to work occasionally and definitely never in winter.

Nice pace car choices! The blue one there was not very many made, but either of them look nice and the best part about montes is there are a lot of possibilities with them!

Looked at this one at another dealer today, an actual Chevrolet dealership. Model year 2000, 80,000 miles, American Racing wheels and cowl induction style hood scoop. $6990. I didn't talk to anyone or test drive it though. Beautiful car, but someone didn't do a very good job molding the scoop on to the hood. It's showing its age. Quite a shame, because I like the scoop. I don't know if it can be saved (I'm not a body man LOL) or if I'd have to replace the hood. I won't come back to this car unless I can't work a deal on the 2003 Pace Car tomorrow night. I kind of really want a Pace Car now, unless I get a great deal on a regular SS. So far, the prices of the Pace Cars around here are about the same as regular SS's.

Accidentally spotted a black '98 Monte Carlo LS at a small used car dealer tonight. 110,000 miles, $3995, 3.1 V6. Very nice shape, optioned the way I like with the power moon roof. However, before I even asked, they told me the intake gaskets are leaking and they won't sell it until its fixed. Once again, like with the red 2000 Pace Car, they are not interested in dropping a few hundred dollars unless I take the car and fix it myself. I still prefer a 6th gen, but if this car had been a Z34 with the 3.8, I might have seriously considered it. This dealer had no website that I know of, so no pic.

have you checked out c-list? which would you prefer a 6th gen or a 5th gen Z34 and how much are you looking at getting a monte for? just wondering man..... also is your name KJ? I had a 98 3.8 for sale by me about a month ago that you could of had for $2500, the bad part was: check engine light on and the AC blew warm air and the miles were 128k which isn't all that bad for a Z34!

I check C-List pretty regularly. That's where I found the blue Pace Car. Good chance I might find the car I want there.
K.J. are my initials. Its actually Kerry Josef, but my wife and lots of people just call me K.J.
I still definitely prefer a 6th gen SS and I'm definitely spoiled for Pace Cars now.:p I'd like to find one for around $6000 or slightly less. The three 6th gen cars I've looked at are all in the ballpark, one for $6995 and both Pace Cars for $6500. All 3 of the 6th gen cars are under 100,000 miles too, which I like. But if a really good deal on a 5th gen came along, I would have to think about it.
I go to see the blue Pace Car tomorrow night, but its supposed to be raining pretty heavily, so we'll see.
