No, you should be able to get a Monte Carlo for easily half that. Dealers keep trying to get Pace Car versions of Monte Carlos for much more than they are worth.

Just because a car has higher miles on it...doesn't mean that it is used and abused. My Monte was in a fleet before I got it. So the way it drives tells me that it was alot of highway miles.

Well one thing is for sure it's a sweet looking car. I'm sure his asking price is based on the rarity of the graphics. If it were me I would first determine the time it has sat on the lot and if it is really what you want offer him $9,500.00 for it. Just tell him that is the max you can go and leave him a number. I have access to OVE and Manheim auto auctions. These cars in this condition and mileage are going for about $6500-7500.00 bucks with a clean car fax. If he did buy this at auction he would make around 2500-3000. Unfortunately I can't send the links to the auction sites because of pass codes or I would.

Anyway if it is really what you want and you are willing to spend the money he is asking then offer him less. Below I did a nationwide search for the Supercharged 2004-2005 cars. There are 05's that are cheaper with the same mileage and Supercharged to boot!
