Found this site by looking around at common problems with monte carlo's. In the process of getting a 2001 SS for my son and looking to see what I might expect. One thing I"m looking at is the current owner put in a after market stereo so I'm looking at ways to reset some of the lights that might come up like the change oil and I found them. So I'm sure I will be back. Thanks for the site and letting me be a member. Oh yeah the current owner has the orginal radio so I need to make sure I get that with the car.

For the oil change lights when the car is on but not started, hit the gas pedal I believe three times. It might be four.
For the tire pressure light, pull the light switch on the left of the steering wheel out 3 or 4 times.
