Just Joined
Hey everyone. My name is Javier and I just joined the site. I've had my 06 Monte Carlo LT since 2006, She's got about 67000 miles on her and is about to go cross country from Florida to California in a couple of days. I am in the Marine Corps, been in since Sept 2008. Been stationed in Japan for the past two years., so needless to say she felt like a tank when I got back to driving her. Feel free to ask any questions or state any statements. Also, the information about the Dual Climate control actuators is awesome and just helped me change out the three actuators that were messed up, next project is taking the old actuators apart and replacing the gears with metal ones to prolong their use.

How did you like living & serving in Japan ?
You have a rare 2006 Monte Carlo LT3...The only year the Monte Carlo had the powerful 3.9L option with 242HP.
Are you being assigned to California ? and is that the reason that you are driving across country from Florida ?
Is there a Story behind your Member User Name "Tico WarBird ? Have you ever been to the below in Titusville, Fl ?

Welcome, Javier! I never had to chance to get stationed in Japan (I'm retired Army). Been through there a couple times on my way to other places.
This Forum and it's members have a wealth of info to tap, both archived and live if you jump online and just ask. Come back often.
