Default Just got my 2000 Monte carlo

Hello Monte Fans I just recently bought my Monte Carlo and I just love it. I got a 2000 Carlo 3.4 LS with all the dealer options added when it first came out. I wasnt really a fan of the SS cause of paint jobs they have no offense just not my preference. I was looking for some advice on some engine modifications that I should add.Air intake etc, or some things you have modified to your rides. I currently have all the windows tinted bout to tint my headlights and backlights and get some LED OR HID like some info on what you guys think would be better after the tint. Im also Getting some neon light kits for the underbody probably white or red cause im riding black on black. Then next Im buying some all black rims not sure whether 16-20 inch like some advice on that whether too big or what. please any info would be nice negative or positive lol. shoot me some words.

thanks man I also currently have 120xxx miles getting all the fluids flushed and all the filters changed in a couple weeks. because the dex cool container is looking pretty grimy and I heard dex cool turns to an acid and eats your manifold after 5 years.

Welcome to the site. I'm curious as to what you meant about the paint jobs.

all the SS in town that I looked at had a checker paint job or a stripes or just had way too many miles for me for the style I liked. I was looking at 02's to 06's SS's with more miles than my 00 LS I got.

welcome, most of the ss montes dont come with stripes or the flag unless its a pace car or supercharged. unless your talking about the pin stripe in which case takes about a hour to take off if that

well all the ones around town for me had more than 150k miles and I was looking for something alot lower. The car I got I paid 3k cash for only 120k and all the ones I was looking at was almost charging 4k or up for cars in the 150 to 200k. So I got a good deal and saved me hella money for modification. That monte is pretty nice almost looks like an ss since he got the ss body style bumper. I was looking at rock auto and for a rear and front bumper it would be no more than 250 dollars thats a good as deal. because it my clear coat is cracking on the front bumper. I was wondering if i spray a couple coats of clear coat and buff it out if that would fix it??
