Just got a Monte again
Hello to everyone here, I have just purchased a 1996 Monte Carlo LS. I am very impressed with it so far. One thing I would like to know approximately what should I get for gas mileage since gas only seems to be going up all the time. Thanks

i odnt get it are you asking what you should get or what your going to get?
If your anything like me it wont be good LOL im getting 22-25 on the hwy last weekend btu in town i go threw about a tank a week drivign 30miles to and from work every morning. but i do have a lead foot.

Wellcome to the forum Pete. Another 5th gen to the fold! We have 2 Montes here, a 97 and a 98LS. Just got my `98 2 weeks ago. I`m getting 25mpg around town but haven`t put the new plugs and wires on yet. The `97 got 31 mpg on a trip to Fla. Enjoy!

was maintained ?
