Default Just bought a 1977 Monte Carlo in NJ

Hello, My name is Rick and I am from New Jersey. I recently purchased a 1977 Monte Carlo with 305 auto and 67K original miles but no AC . I have been looking for an older chevy in decent condition for the right price and finally stumbled across this one. Needs some work but over all a very solid car and I paid $3K for it. I am looking forward to spring so I can start working on it. I am very mechanically inclined and been working on cars since I was a teenager, I am 50 now! I am sure I will be posting questions in the future. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase and the deal! That's a stunning look for almost 40 years of age. Good luck with your future mods, keep us posted!

I LOVED that car. It's the reason I own the '02 I have now. Keep your seatbelt on or when you turn left you'll go sliding across the bench seat onto the passenger side. Good luck!

Hi `Rick & Welcome to the MCF. You found a super super Monte Carlo @ a great price 4-$ure. I also like the aftermarket rim's. It looks in good condition. Look 4ward to your updates. Enjoy
