Default Introduction to Myself and my Monte

So as a newish member here on the MC forums I thought i introduce myself. My name is Conner and i am 18 years old, and i live in upstate NY. I just graduated high school. Now i am going to St. John Fisher college (Rochester, NY) to major in computer science. Now that I've gotten all of the boring stuff out of the way why don't i talk about what you came here to see. THE MONTE. I've got a 2004 Monte Carlo LS (i know no ss) At this point i have had it for nearly 2 years (it was my first car.) I bought it from a local dealer with 27k miles on it. Damn was this car mint. Now looking back i probably could've gotten an SS for the amount i paid for mine, but you cant beat having a car with less than 30k miles on it for your first vehicle. Boy have we been through a lot together. A couple of girlfriends, good thing there's plenty of space in the back Also my fair share of drag races. Haven't lost yet btw

Thanks! I'm inching up on 40k miles right now. I plan on keeping the car for as long as she'll live. All i expect is that she lasts me through college, and once i get some money under me the Monte will be put away hopefully one day to be handed down with not a **** ton of miles on it.

Dang that's some low miles. So when you bought it, it was at roughly 3k miles/yr which is unheard of nowadays. My 06 sees around 3k annually but mine isn't a daily driver and is stored 5 months a year - my daily driver is actually on track for 32k miles this year.

Welcome!
