Interior Lights - 2007 Monte Carlo SS
Hey guys and gals,
New user looking for information about our cars as well as looking forward to seeing some of your rides as well.
So, foolish question # 1, when you open the doors of my 07 SS the map lights do not go on, I recently had a 2003 SS and they worked with the door opening as well as with the on off switch on the mirror.
It is very dark when getting into the car. Anyone else know of this and is there possibly a solution?

The change in Gen had some change in ways things worked. One of them is the lack of the Map lights coming on. You could always change out the mirror with one of the older ones an bring that wire for operation to the mirror. This change came about because now there is a Dome light where in the older there wasn't.
