Thanks I still tripping around this thing. What I wanted to say was the reason I put the lens cover on the tail light was to hide the fogging spots. I don't know why they fog up. going on 9 years now.

Iam waitting for summer to come Iam going to replace the front Emblem it came with a bubble flaw at the top. My heat gun and fishing line standing by.after I heat the emblem up with a up and down movement.when the glue starts to activate. I will put the fishing line between the emblem and remove it. take soft cloth and clean the rest of the old glue off. than I will put the new emblem on. and it's going to look great. trust me I have done other cars LOL.

I found mine with a Google search: "Third brake light decal - Monte Carlo." You can also look on ebay and amazon - emblems and decals, Monte Carlo. Good luck!!

Welcome to the forum.

If you're talking about the knight's crest between the grill openings, the back of it is not perfectly flat. There's two pegs that fit into the bumper cover/grill. If you have the new one, then you already know what I mean. Good luck. The 2000-2005 knight's crest on the front grill tend to develop air bubbles like you mentioned.
