Hi all! I just purchased a 2004 SS Supercharged Intimidator and I love it! I'm here in CT and I didn't think I'd ever see another Intimidator on our streets. Wrong! Tonight as I was driving down the road, I saw another black Monte behind me. When we came to the light, he pulled up to my right side and passed me, waving! Sure enough it was an Intimidator. It was kind of cool to see another one and feel that strange kind of bond with a stranger!

 

Welcome to the forum.... I've had similar experiences with SS and LS owners as well. Most Monte owners are very proud of their ride..

talk bout filling up, it cost me $40 to fill up this weekend......

Gotta love the mileage of our Monte's though...


I guess it could be much worse, I could own an Excursion.... Could you imagine??

 

Just $40? You must be where the gas is cheap! It cost me $40 to fill up when I still had 1/4 tank left. Then, 3 days later, another $40. $80 of gas in the first 5 days I owned the car... ouch! I'm missing my S10 that I traded in.

Gas here in Houston is $2.79 for regular. A co worker of mine owns a Expedition that cost her $70 to fill it from 1/4 of a tank... If prices go much higher I may resort to purchasing a pocket rocket or ride my bike to work..

 

it cost me 37 dollars from a quarter tank that wasn't even premium they were out of premium it hurt

 

I just filled up from empty - $45.00! Paid $2.99 per gallon. I also have an '04 F-150 and filled it - $98.00 from 1/8 tank. $143.00 in one day on gas. OUCH!

As far as an Excusion - I traded a '01 4x4 diesel Excursion for the F-150. Believe it or not, with a chip in it I was geting 22 MPG. I miss it now! The F-150 gets 15.5 mpg.
