Hey Monte Carlo fam.

I really want to swap my trunck, rear bumper, front bumper, hood, and headlights to a 2006-2007 Monte. I have a 2003 monte Ls. I know you this is possible due to this video Any help or knowledge with doing this swap is greatly appreciated. Im wondering is it just a regular swap or is it more to that?

 

That's a unique Monte Carlo 4-Sure. Yes, the vid is proof, but I don't know & don't think the parts will just bolt on. Maybe one of our member's into body work or body mod's will know (?)

If none of our member's post a answer (?), I suggest calling or visiting a Chevy Body Shop and asking or any major body shop or maybe a Chevy Parts dept. maybe able to help.

Good Luck on finding out & getting your Monte the way you want it to `be. It would be great if you could find those parts at a junk yard vs getting them new....The cost would be high 4-Sure...Hood, trunk, lights etc WoW...Keep us updated `OK

Its doable, but for the front end the entire front has to be swapped. Bumper, hood, lights fenders, everything. Not sure on the rear, guessing the same thing. Trunk lights and bumper.

I am working on converting the Monte over starting with the tail lights

 

I have changed my tail lights, I'm going to change the trunk lid headlights bumper and hood, cluster from a 2005 SS, Stay tuned

As another 03 LS owner i wouldn't even bother with the swap, sell the 03 and buy an 06-07 SS
