Howdy from Boise
I hope to gain some knowledge from some realy knowledgeable and friendly members here. Poor Monte is just falling apart these days. Seems like many of the problems are just plain bad design, though I know what time and miles do to a car. I have really enjoyed it since I bought it new, but I'm on the verge of dumping it in a hole.
Unlike many of the really cool cars I see on this forum, my 3.4L, plain Jane MC is (forgive me) mere transportation. It's comfortable, and I lost the (forgive me again) need for speed long ago.

My car was strictly a daily driver for 10 years before I got a second car last month to help ease the burden of the very high mileage Monte Carlo

Welcome to the site and feel free to ask any questions you might have. The comfortable cruiser aspect is what attracted me and i'm sure a lot of others to the Monte Carlo.
