Howdy All!!!
I'm James, 41 years old, USAF Vet, and a Monte Carlo nut and Dale Earnhardt fan since 1979. The '86 Monte SS was my dream car. Never had the privilege of owning one... yet.
However, I have been blessed with opportunity of owning 3 Monte SS's. I bought a new one in '02 & '06, and a used one last month(September 11th). You can see pictures of all of my rides in my photo album in my profile. I hope you enjoy the photos and stories behind my vehicles.
I do a lot of on-line gaming with my XBox 360 and would love to game with fellow Monte Carlo fanatics. I run my own custom cars in NASCAR 09 and have a ton of my own paint schemes in my EA Locker for everyone to download and enjoy. I also enjoy many other games as well like Rainbow Six. I'm looking forward to playing and conversing with ya'll here and on-line. My gamertag is in my signature below.
BTW, I do have all the GM catalog numbers for the "Intimidator" logos and parts for the Monte SS and Silverado SS if anyone is interested. The parts can be ordered through www.GMPartsDirect.com WITHOUT verification of "Intimidator" ownership.
Anyway, I'm happier than a mosquito at a nudist colony to be here!!!

heyy! welcome to the forum! the 86' ss is my dream monte too! my race car is actually that year =D

My buddy was a Marine until a drunk driver ended his career, put him a wheelchair for the rest of his life, limited use of one arm, and unable to talk to where people can understand him.
The sad thing is, his mind is all there so he talks with a keyboard. It's a living hell for him, but he says it sure beats the alternative.
The drunk got 6 months, my buddy got a life sentence.
Anyway, THANKS to one and all for the warm welcome here. Every Monte Carlo Club I found makes you pay dues. @#$%!!! What's up with that? Isn't it for the love of the car? Those other clubs it seems to be love of money.
