Default HIOOO! yeah im new ^^

Hiya! im new to Chevy and not exactly an automotive expert, but im pretty good at fixing things one i have them figured out.

I have 3 vehicles, my daily driver at the moment is acting up, its a 97 Monte Carlo V6 dual overhead cam, i put a post in the tech forum hoping for help, Its my first vehicle that isn't a ford and also my first front wheel drive.

97 Monte Carlo LS: minor issues im fixing as i can.
1995 Mustang GT 5.0 5spd: anti-lock breaks + cruise control = center divide, just needs from TLC...
And my f-150: either the ECM or connector to distributor.

I have my hands full but mainly want to keep my Monte Carlo running because its better on gas and more comfy, plus my wife can't drive the fords because they're both 5 speed haha:p I'm partial to my 5.0 pony but I'll keep it Chevy speak in the forums ^^

welcome to the forum, it is pretty late but I really like this... kinda the same mindset I have when going to work, but not as many cars...

I have 3 vehicles, and they all have unique problems... Just another way of making me occasionally late for work :p

Hi, welcome to the forum. Just FYI, if your monte is a LS then it will have the 3100 overhead valve motor. The 3.4 DOHC motors only came in the Z34 model.
