Hi-ooo! I'm New Here.
To start things off... I've been lurking~trolling...this forum since I picked up my 3rd WBody (2003 Monte Carlo SS) back in the fall of 2011. I've read enquiring posts that i could have added some insight, info, ect. So, I figure its about time i actually join, so i can be a productive member... and learn something new as well.
I've been playing with W bodies, 3800's (mostly SC'd and a few turbo'd) since 2001.. back when the 3.4" PRESS-ON pulley, CAI, and a DP were the ~ big~ mods of the day. So, I've been around, and done some stuff.
Now, for my cars...The '03 Monte Super Slow; its obv. just a L36, NA 3800. The mod list is quite short at the moment but, consist of; CAI, U-Bend Delete, and some minor tweaks to thePCM (via PowrTuner/HP Tuners). Since its my "daily driver" I'm going to "try" to stay mild-ish on the mods (which i have stacked up and waiting to go on: "Top Swap", XP cam, ZZP IC, 42lb inj., GenV M90, P/P'd heads w/stock size valves, and my old SLP headers.
My '98 GP GT 's mod list currently; L36 short block, GenV, IC, 60lb inj, ZZP Stg. 3 heads, XPZ cam, ZZP headers, 3" exh, ZZP Trans w/ all the goodies and 2750 stall, and 3.29 gears (and just recently rebuilt myself). I'm probably forgetting some mods but, anyways, one of the very few times its been to the track ran 12.2 @110+/-..IIRC.. been almost 5yrs since its been running.
So, with all that said... typed... whatever lol... I've learned A LOT, and hope i can help. i also know i can learn some stuff as well.
Thanks for your time.
