Hi gang, NewB here.
Hi all, NewB here, I have an 86 Monte Carlo SS that has a 95 LT1 & T56 from an F body. Rear end is a 3.42:1 10 bolt from a Grand National. It has 98-02 S10 blazer front knuckles with C5 Vette 13" rotors & matching 2 piston calipers, rear brakes are LT1 style F body calipers with 12" Vette rotors. I have replaced the head gaskets with B body ones to raise compression, supposedly to 11:1, I have port matched the heads to the intake, it has a CC306 (not ran yet, debating switching to a milder one), CC roller rockers with 7/16 studs, CC Pushrods, & CC behive springs. I have switched to a full double roller timing chain & electric water pump, 94-96 Impala SS cooling fans, still have stock opti, (probably should change that). BBK 58mm throttle body with custom made 3.5" cold air tube with K&N filter. It has 17x8 Centerline stars up front with 245/45/17 BFG KD's & 17x9.5 rear with 275/40/17 tires. And has a cowl induction hood.
Pretty much sums it up.

RE: Hi gang, NewB here.
Thanks. No it is not a daily driver. I haven't driven it for a couple years. 2 kids have slowed down my work ability on it. I am hoping to have it all back together soon so I can have some fun driving it. I have had it close to 10 years. The first time I saw it was at the Corvette Nationals in Indianapolis. Interior was "funky", white gauges, steering column, radio trim, pass side trim..... Then a year or so later a guy I worked with told me he had seen a Monte in his home town at a bank parking lot for sale. So I went & looked at it & it was the same car. Except the nice radio, seats, motor, tranny were gone & it was on 4 spare tires. So i bought it pretty cheap & started working on it.
The graphics was done by Tony at Mack Ink Customs. I have a couple shirts with that on it & he sent me an image to use in my signatures (haven't got that to work here though).
I think I forgot to mention that the rear is a 8.5" 3.42 posi from a Buick GN.

RE: Hi gang, NewB here.
I'll get some pics of it as soon as I can get it out of my cluttered garage. In the mean time here is an old pic of it when it was running, before I started my cam swap, that turned into a bunch of other crap.
