I have been working on getting all the extra parts off the donor cars so that we can crush them im going to start pulling the tranny out of my monte tomorrow and then I have to wait for my cousin to come help me put the new one in he supposed to come on weds. thanks for checking in

So the transmission is in but it's pouring fluid from the lines and car won't start unless I bypass it with a push start I had to stop on it so I could go to work hopefully I get better luck tomorrow

Are you using the original pcm? Also check the connections on the starter and the grounds by the starter. On the leaky trans lines, make sure they are fully seated in the quick disconnect fittings.

its the neutral safety switch not letting it start I don't have any back up lights. i need the plug ins for that box and maybe I can wire it in some how

so i looked at it today and found out the line is broke right where it goes into the fitting.i took it off im having a lil trouble getting the other line on.this sucks I was sure she would be on the road by now.well I gotta go to work now maybe tomorrow she will be done

Yeah those tranny lines can be a bear. Thats odd about the neutral switch, the hollander at the jy said its the same tranny.

Its from an 01 gran prix and its fr9 maybe if I try taking that box off and see how it works.whats this hollander?
