I would love to tint the windows, but here on long island especially in my town the local constabulary are a real pain in the *** about tints, but the backlight and maybe the rear quarter windows I can get away with

Welcome Aaron!

Congrats on your #1644 of 4000 Intimidator. The Intimidator is a very nice car. And as you'll quickly find out, it's very popular on this site. Of course, I can see why.

I like the Python "Monty", and Monte "Python" idea. Funny stuff.

For some ideas on your exhaust, check out a thread that member"cowboy6622" (Duane) made.

Hope this helps.

ok so now i've had the car almost a week and so far, switch to mobil 1, change supercharger oil, new gatorback belts, ac plugs and wires, the k & n FIPK should come UPS tomorrow, 6 silverstar headlights, mostly maintainence stuff, who knows what the first owner did or didn't do. coolant change with thermostat this weekend, and I picked up on ebay, a metal license plate frame from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in NC, I thought it would be a nice touch.
still can't figure out which exhaust to go with, all the v6's I hear sound, well, like v6's there has to be a system that sounds throaty without the v6 drone. Has anyone tried a downpipe, u bend delete, hi flow cat and a stock rear system, the stock mufflers sound good but are they really restrictive?

This doesn't exactly answer your question, I guess... but a couple of vids to see:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lq19vwlx4ss
"With ALMOST straight pipes"

http://youtube.com/watch?v=4Q0ucqiCfXo
"With exhaust cutout OPEN"

if you have the money, a cutout or straight pipes may be the road to your desired sound... shop around youtube to see what others have done and try to find the sound you want (i did this A LOT before i decided on what i would actually do and from there the MCF guys were very helpful in getting me to my destination... they just need an idea of what your goin for!)

i'm kinda surprised you changed the sc oil already... how many miles are on yours?
i guess i can't really blame you, i just got mine in for "Full" service tuesday and got her back wednesday... mobil 1 syn., syn. tranny fluid after flush & fill, injector cleaning/induction service, new fuel filter, new cabin air filter, coolant flush/fill and other little things (found a license plate bulb out... that's a ticket in waiting!) for much the same reason you did (don't know what the previous owner did/didn't do...) mine's just off a lease at 30k, though, so i'm not too concerned! next project, new performance plugs and t*stat along with windshield badging and dealer sticker removal!

I'll check around u tube, thanks for the idea
She's got 51,000 on the clock, someone had replace the s/c drive housing (nose)
sometime in the past, under warranty i guess, so I want to just play it safe
It's in such nice shape I want to keep it as nice and reliable as possible
I'll play with internal mods down the road a bit, for starters it'll just be bolt ons
