Default Hi everybody

New guy from Staten Island New York here.
Hi everybody, my names Vin and I'm from NY. I purchased a 1986 Monte SS 4 years ago for my son which was his first car. Needless to say 4 years have past and it's time for him to part with her. Through some neglect and some bad luck the car needs some work and is a project car.

I purchased the car off of ebay and flew out to Buffalo NY with plates in hand to drive it back home 450 miles. The car was in great shape when we first got her with only some minor alligatoring in the paint.

This is what it looked like a week after I brought it home.

Well it doesn't look anything like that anymore.

Here she is now with the craigslist ad I put up last week ....the first $1000 takes it away.

1986 Chevy Monte Carlo SS

Welcome to the site. Good luck selling it. It's unfortunate your son didn't keep it looking as nice as it was but I have teens and know how it is. The other day I asked my daughter what happened to the trim panel on her car, she said why is it scratched, I said no it's gone.
