Hey y'all!
Hey y'all!
I found this forum through google and thought id join. Sense I just turned 18 my rents got me a car. It is a 2004 Monte Carlo SS. To be honest I was disappointed because I wanted a Corvette or a Camaro but my parents didnt kno about the supercharged cars lol.
Neways I have a question. I was watching NASCAR on Sunday and was wondering what I could do to make my car more like that. I kno that it wont go that fast but how can I get closer? When I try to turn real fast the front end just slides lol.

Welcome... You can make your car look more Nascar-like, but unless you go RWD conversion and drop in a V8, no way will you get your car to perform like one. lol There are plenty of mods you can do though, just start searching.

You should be happy your parents bought you a Monte, thats a pretty new, nice car!
Not that I wouldnt take a Vette or Camaro either, but don't be disappointed with your Monte!

Heyy! Welcome to the site! There are plenty of mods you can put on your monte to get more horsepower and such. Just gotta do your homework =D and yeah is it supercharged??? And don't be disappointed, the monte (especially an 04 but i'm just partial lol) is a really great car. yeah the others are nice too but they still aren't a monte =]

This is a full sized 2 door coupe, not a Ferarri. It drives NICE, but it is NOT a race car. It just sounds to me like you are on a dangerous path with a car like this. BUT, if you want a litle better handling, start with strut tower braces front AND rear, lower the car 1", add stainless brake flex lines, and put on some wider and stickier tires. That's a good start.
