Hey Jeremy

It's nice to see another member with an 80's Monte. We've been seeing a lot of 'em around here lately.
We'd love to see and read more about yours.

It's an 81. I just turned 20 and it's my first little project to learn on. It has a 350 bored .040. 390 cam, Headers and 3 1/2 inch exhaust turn downs. And a 350 turbo tranny. I'll probably be on here asking about a hundred questions a day of what all I should do to it. The interior is a wreck and its just primer right now. I have the paint but I am waiting until i have the door handles shaved before I start any painting. Here is a pic of when I first brought her home.

Well here is what I have done so far to the car. I have changed the timing gears for a double roller because I couldn't handle the noise from them. (If anyone needs a set just holller at me) The guy that had it before me was working on turning it into a drag car and almost completely stripped the interior out, so I'm in the works of replacing all of that. I'v installed a new stereo system in it...I had to run all new wires through the car. It had a 500 amp rockerfosgate amp,two 12" visonik subs, and four pioneer 6X9's. I installed them on a friday and that saturday night someone broke into my car and stole everything. So, I am shaving the door handles so hopefully nothing like that happeneds again since the first owner tack welded the locking mechanism up. Which i still haven't figured out why someone would do that.I'll keep everyone posted on all of my progress and soon I'll have a video so everyone can hear how loud this thing is.
