Hey! New Here not to Montes
Im JRockZ I've had a ton of montes throught out my 49yrs of life, First car I ever legally owned at 15 was a 73 Monte black on black with a sunroof and Cragars all the way around. It was hit hard in the right front and I got in trouble just before I was to get my license so I wound up just selling the car and wheels and doubled my money.
Many years later my first car I ever made payments on was an 87 Black and maroon SS which I later painted a burgundy color and then sold/traded it off, shortly after that I also owned a 71 I called the blue flame it was always catching fire for some reason or another and was finally burnt to a crisp shortly after I thankfully sold it off for a good profilt.
A few yrs after that I had my eye back on my old 87 SS and I soon bought her again (about 10yrs later from the time I had sold it) I picked it back up from the same guy I sold it to,,,, and then about 2yrs after that I finally sold it off to someone that I later heard totaled it.
a good 5 to ten yrs later I bought an 02 LS and used it to drive for business doing a delivery type job she was feeling wore out at 183,000 miles so I traded her in for an economy car as gas prices were at their peak around then.
And now this year I found this baby that was in my g/fs families transmission shop A white 02 SS. Apparently the owner abandonded her with a $1800 dollar bill. So I picked her up for that on the mechanics lien and put some nice wheels on knowing its an older not perfect car but still a monte and not looking to bad at 193,000 miles (with an all new/rebuilt trans). So im gonna share some pics now in chronological order if I can.
