Default Hey guys!

I'm new to this forum website and my name is Reid. I picked up a 1996 monte carlo ls with 99k miles about a week and a half ago, and all i had to do was to change the water pump on it. This is my first car, and i wanna have a little fun with it. Such as put a cat back exhaust, a custom y pipe, and air intake. Any suggestion? Please nothing too expensive.

Hi `Reid, and Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family.
That's low miles for a 96 : )
What engine do you have ?
What happened to the hood ?
Explore the MCF & use of search engine for subjects of
interest...If you can't find, make a post & ask.
What is your modification Budget $$$ ?
Look forward to reading more about your Monte,
your area of the county, and how life is 4 U.
What type of Service to you assist in
Wish you safe/fun trouble`free miles in your
first car. A Monte is a great first car.
Good Luck

The person before got the car with the hood like that, so im not too sure at all. It has the 3.1 ohv motor. With the modifying i wanna do it small piece at a time, such as the coil packs, wire and plugs at the same time, Small stuff like that, the exhaust wont happen prob till early feb, but im a service assistant at a resteraunt called "aspen creek". It is owned by texas road house company. My budget with the mods is 400
