That sucks dude.. like montejass said that looked like a sweet ride. Hopefully you can come up with a new one.

 

I looked around where I live and couldn't find one so I bought a Dodge Intrepid. I looked at some newer ones and couldn't find one I could afford. I love the SS Monte's. I saw a yellow Special addition I would have loved to buy but the pocketbook said no.

I posted in the for sale section the Shop manuals I bought for it. I am selling them. They are new never used Mint condition. They costed me $125. I would take $75 for em if anyones interested.

How do you like the Intrepid? My step mom has one, I don't like it

 

I'm glad I wasn't hurt as well. I like the Intrepid. I think there are things about both cars I like. The Monte had more power and it was a pretty cool car. I like having a little more room in the Dodge though. The Monte was definitely much sportier. I was fighting getting a 4 door car until I saw this one. It had only 33,000 miles and it is imaculate inside and out!

 

The trunks on those things are ginormous! The engine/tranny is silky smooth, and I like the white face guages, but that's where it ends. For as big as the car is, not nearly as comfy inside as I expected, my Monte is considerably more comfortable than the Intrepid. The ride is a little firm, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when you couple that with the abnormaly loud road noise injected into the cabin, it makes for a horrible combination. And the stereo system, don't even get me started

 

I hate the road noise as well. My Monte had a much quieter ride. Iv'e always liked GM's ride quality better. As for the stereo I will probably upgrade someday.
