Hello World.
my forum name is a my actual name, and i'm 36. i'm a long time monte enthusiast and owner.
my first car was a grayish white 78 w/ a 305, second a blue 71 w/ a 350.
my latest car is a fully loaded (minus the block heater) 2006 Victory Red SS that i bought with nearly 300K miles on it. i'm a contractor by trade and the economic collapse bascially killed any hope i had of owning a 7th gen brand new... so i filed the dream away until i could find a cheap one to really enjoy and modify. now here i am with another well used monte trying to keep it on the road for a few more decades!
once i get this one sorted, it's on to the holy grail... a white 83 ss. then the color scheme (USA FTW!) and my personal collection will be complete.

Hello and welcome..
Would it be out of line to ask a ballpark price you paid for a 7th gen with 300k?
Just curious really.. I got my 02 bonneville with a little over 320k for 600 and its been going for about 6 years now without a single thing going wrong with it other than battery..

Welcome! 300k miles!? You are a brave one. Sounds like you have a similar goal as me - I want an 87 SS (preferably an Aerocoupe) at some point.
