Thank you red nightmare, but no the first owner bought the car brand new in '05 and since has moved several times and in the process the papers got misplaced. I've never checked with GM if i could get the papers or some duplicates, i don't even know if they could do that?!

I'm pretty sure if you contact the right people at GM and give them your vin# they could at least let you know the # of the car since it's a special edition and those are the only ones GM kept production numbers on, i.e. Dale Jr., Dale Sr., Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart. Someone on here should know who to contact for that.
