Smile Hello New to MCF~>1971 Monte Carlo SS 454 Pro Touring
I am going to be picking up a 1971 Monte Carlo SS 454 Pro Touring. It has some nice mods. How do you guys who have a first gen like it? What mods have people done?

New GM Crate engine 454. Air Ride suspension, Exhaust ,audio Rims and some other things

Personally, I would be looking at making sure the tranny can handle the power you're putting out. But as far as performance mods, maybe a turbo if you want to add some serious power. Rather than just an aftermarket air intake kit. Do you, or do you plan on, racing the car? If so, are you considering Nos? Or do you just plan on keeping it as a daily driver; maybe show it off at cruise-ins and such?
