Guys,
I gotta tell you this. I just sold my mustang and am looking forward to getting me a SS, probably a 85-86. I love the old boxy, brick style best. I have always admired the look and the muscular stance especially sitting on a nice set of wheels. I love a nice car, better yet a nice/fast car. Looking at getting one and dropping a 454 in one. Anyone have one, or know someone that has dropped one of these monsters in? Are they capable of turning some good times, I know that they are fairly heavy, however...how do they react to a little lightening up and a big motor. Anyway, I can't wait to contribute some knowledge on the forums here. From one muscle-car to the next...speed is all the same.

Welcome to the Monte Carlo Forum. I look forwar to your posts. There was a guy across town that had an ls that he put SS parts on with a 454. I know the car would motivate and he needed new rear tires in no time at all. He street raced it occasionally but nothing with times. Gregg
