Hello fellow monte owners. Its nice to have found a fourm for these cars. About me well were do I start. I have a 2001 white Monte Carlo SS. Got it november of 2006 and I love the car. Picked it up for 8000 Even at a volvo dealer in wichita KS. I just moved to ogden Utah for a job I just got a ATK aero&space systems. well how about some pics of the car





As you can see its a pretty damn clean car. Its my first real nice car and I have to say I love this car. Its not the fastest but I dont really car about speed anymore. Its got plenty of go for me. Anyway its got 109k on the clock but you cant tell looking at the car I belonged to a volvo sales manager and he used it as a traveling vehicle cause it gets awsome gas mileag and way comfortable. I moved from wichita to Ogden utah in it and man I loved the drive so comforable and got 30 to 33 MPG according to the readout above the rearview mirror but im not sure on how accurate they car. Hope im welcome and thanks for letting me be about of your guys forum.

My 2nd Monte was an all black SS LE. I've never got that kind of milage with any of my Montes, but I did with both of my '01 Impalas. I'm sure you are going to like it.

I actually dont have any plans for this one. Im really thinking about tradeing it in for a 06 LT3 if the payments are right and can get a nice deal.

Wow Josh, clean isn't the word for it. The interior looks like showroom,as a matter of fact, the whole thing looks showroom.I had a 2001 which is virtually the same, and it was a great car.

Maybe it's cuz my 06 LT3 has 17" rims?

Yes, that is a beautiful Monte. I love to see the 6th gen models that have the different coloured interiors. Mine, like many others, is entirely black, and can be a bit overwhelming at times. Interiors like that are refreshing to me.
