Default Hello everyone ....

Hi guys ...

My name is Derek and I'm happy to have joined the group....

I have a 2004 monte carlo SS Intimidator and I'm have some problems with it ...

first I lost my front pwr outlet ....off and on until it just went out all together .... then my seat heater went out .....then my radio went out .... all of them did the same thing .... would work off and on ... rear defogger pwr window button driver side and now my heat is doing the same thing .....off then on then off then on ..... Seems like its something new everyday .... was hopping that maybe someone might have an idea of what's going on with it ....

Even if you just have a crazy idea of what it could be ....Would like to talk to you .... I would like to fix it myself IF I can ???

Thank you to anyone that might be able to shed some light on my issues ...

Thank you so much .....Hope to hear from the group soon ...

thanks so much ...

Derek

Welcome to the forum

Your front power outlet is probably the fuse, common problem, I believe it is in the fuse panel on the passenger side of the car

Seat Heat, common issue as well, the wires get old and burnt and usually cause them to fail, you can remove the seat cover and look for the burnt spot in the seat foam and solder and I recommend adding a bit of extra wire, or also check the fuse and there is also a relay under the seat I believe that sometimes fails

Radio hard to diagnose, is it an aftermarket? do you have a aftermarket car starter? these both could be wiring issues in behind the dash depending on who installed them

There are lots of write ups with pictures and links to step by step videos in the FWD tech section under monte carlo repair help on the site. I will post some links that may help you
