Hello Everyone
Hello All,
I stumbled upon this forum just at the right time. I just found out that my 2002 Monte Carlo SS #3 needs a new oil pan gasket and was looking online at how to replace it. I love my car and drive my son 56 miles one way to school everyday due to him being Autistic and going to a special school. I have already seen 1 person on here that has the same car and I look forward to connecting to others soon. |
Top of the morning to ya.
Oil pan gasket is fairly straightforward, just make sure you drain the oil before you drop the pan ;) |

Welcome to a great site. The oil pan is pretty easy stuff. Just like Nitehawkjcb said. Makes sure the oil is drained 1st. Then its a good time to change the oil filter also. Wipe the pan clean and wash it, dry it before you put it back on. You can get a Manual from O Reilly's auto or even Auto zone.
