Hello to everyone in France! Good luck on your search. Just wondering if France has a law about yellow/amber turn signals? I remember someone else from Europe (can't remember which coutry exactly -- sorry) a while back, asked about getting tail lights with amber turn signals because it was mandatory.

Just curious.

Welcome!

Yes all the cars that are imported and are under 30 years must be approved to European standards. And it costs 4000 €

Wow! For anyone wondering, I did the conversion. That comes to a little over $5850 U.S.

I'm in Canada. Here, cars in over the last 30 years or so had to comply with Canadian standards. Since Canada has english and french as official languages. So the most important things in the car like the guages and warning lights have symbols that make little to no sense in either language. But other stuff like the stereo, GPS, and so on, are perfectly fine in english.

If you ask me, the stereo is one of the most important parts of the car.

I'm glad you won't have to pay to convert the car to european standards. That's money you can put toward other things.
